Kind Cluster Integrations

Cloudburst burst nodes join your Kind cluster over Tailscale. The same tailnet can expose workloads to your devices. For persistent storage, use Local Path Provisioner (simple) or Longhorn (distributed).

Tailscale Operator, Local Path Provisioner, Longhorn for Kind + Cloudburst
Kind integrations: Tailscale for tailnet access, Local Path or Longhorn for storage.

Integrations

Tailscale Tailscale Operator Expose cluster workloads to your tailnet via LoadBalancer or Ingress. No public IPs or load balancers. View example → Storage Local Path Provisioner Simple local storage on each node. Uses /opt/local-path-provisioner. Suitable for dev and single-node workloads. View example → Storage Longhorn Distributed replicated storage. CNCF project with HA, snapshots, GUI. Combined example with Tailscale + pod affinity. View example → CNPG CloudNativePG Distributed PostgreSQL with primary/standby replication. Restore replicas on newly provisioned burst nodes. View example →
